Hi all,

We are looking for a flatemate so if you know of anyone please get them in touch with me... here is our blurb written by my flatmate...

On October 3rd one of my marvelous flatmates will shift to her new place, leaving a room available in our humble dwelling.

We seek a new flatmate (or flatmates).

The room is 3m by 3m, plus a wardrobe. Not huge, but then, you’d be paying less rent than the rest of us, and there’s plenty of room for stuff in the rest of the house.

The house is huge and well furnished with all the stuff which makes a home hum happily.

We live in Oranga, and have a bus-stop right outside. Shops are five minutes distant by foot. Oranga is a big but nonexciting suburb between One Tree Hill and Onehunga

Rent is $117.25 per week, not inclusive of phone/power, assuming that you’re only one person. The rent for two would be a little higher, as we’d have to negotiate an extra slot with the landlord.

Your flatmates would be:

Karen, a game-fanatic who plays a part in Battlecry, America’s Cup, King of Cards, SCA, etc.

Lucy, a 20-something design student and IT professional.

Julie, a sweet 30-something maiden who may smother me in my sleep if I say any more.

Chris (alias Dog, alias me), a 30-something snowboarder/ climber/engineer /gamer.

Julie plans to welcome a cat to our home soon, so, no, you may not bring your rottweiler.

Julie and I have a bathroom upstairs, so you'd be sharing one with Lucy & Karen.

The flat dynamic is the perfect mix of relaxed but not slobby.

People come over most nights to watch a video / plan how best to corrupt roleplayers / help save the world from the aliens/the orcs/the democrats. So while its far from raucous, its not a place for terrified introverts.

Our preferred flatmate has income, appears sane, and has basic social skills or is willing to learn.

If interested, you should reply by text or email (off group). Please mention this to any friends who you feel may be interested.

Regards,
Chris/Dog

Good luck with the flatmate hunt sounds like a fun place.

3m x 3m is not far from the dimensions of my bed alone... It has caused me many problems finding a place to stay Cheesy
