I'll give you a game.

I have Black Templar's and Imperial Guard. I will most likely be bringing my I.G. army, but I haven't quite decided.

How hard is your list going to be? Oh wait, this isn't Fantasy, so no-one cares. Haha.

Dark Angels + a not very hard list + a relative rookie = A big loss for me

if you'rre after some ideas on how to use your DAs, i enjoyed reading this guy's thread:

he has a pretty weird looking list on paper, but all his games show that he knows how to use it.  and because he uses all aspects of DAs there's a little bit in there for every army build you might like to conjur up.

My list is a not a lot different but does use both Deathwing and Ravenwing, my initial list that I have been painting up isn't that great, but once I finish painting up this incarnation I'll starts adjusting it and hopefully it will be competitive against all comers.
