Anyone familiar with theses paints? Are they better than say GW or P3?
Any help would really appreciated.

They're better than GW by a smidge, but far inferior to P3. VGC tends to be a bit chalky and make your life hell if you aren't a pro painter (I hate them hard).

Is there a physical location in Auckland where you can buy P3 paints? I've only found online stores.

I prefer Vallejo to P3 myself...

I order mine through Maelstrom.

Well with Philthy and yourself having differing opinions. I'm utterly confused... lol. Do you have some old Vallejo that you could let me try out that'll be cool. I'll spot you your club fees or something similar. I got my order of P3 paints from maelstrom and will compare as soon as I get around to it. I'm taking more interest in painting just recently which is great.

They don't have much of a range. They do have the P3 colour chart on their web site which is a boon.

I'd love to give you some but I gave all mine away when I picked up P3.

In some ways it comes down to personal painting style & colours (for me).

I actually use a mixture of Citadel/Vallejo/P3 ...  but primarily Vallejo.  I find the P3 range limited in regards to palette, but some of the colours are useful.
