... For those of us who remember James and have met Kim and Dominic(My godson started school at the same time as Dom.) Here are the details of the service this Friday. I am attending and i encourage any Cityguard members who remember James to attend as well...

Kim (47) and Dominic (8. At peace now. Passed away on 17 July 2009. Dearly loved wife and perfect son of James Flowers. Loved mother and brother of Alex Chapman and loved stepmother and brother of Nathan Keats Flowers. Caring sister of Karl Bowers and Shaun Whelan. Loved by large extended family and many friends. A celebration of their lives will be held in the Main Chapel of the Morrison Funeral Home, 220 Universal Drive, Henderson on Friday 24 July at 10 am, followed by a private family burial. Friends and family may pay their respects to Kim and Dominic at the above Funeral Home on Wednesday and Thursday between 2.30 and 6.30pm. Donations can be made at the service to the Gifted Education Centre or Mental Health Foundation. All communications to the Flowers Family c/- the above Funeral Home.

I am absolutely gutted.

I remember James well...  and have missed seeing him since I returned to the "scene" myself after a couple of years hiatus.

Thats a horrible loss and not something at all I'd even want to contemplate.  "Gutted" is a good word to use.

Unfortunately work will preclude me from attending...  but if you don't mind passing on my condolences also (if these things are at all possible or appropriate) then I'd appreciate it Daemion.  Cheers Dude.

Yes, gutted is a good description here. I found out on Sunday at the club and was quite upset by it. The weekend before James and Dominic had been at the roleplaying event I was organising at Uni, and they have both been coming into the store in the weekends to attend the roleplaying events. Dominic was an awesome kid.

I would like to attend the Friday service but I am the only one at my work. If I'm not there we have to close the store. If anyone is going to the furneral home during the Wed/Thu afternoon/evenings to pay their respects and has car space, I might be able to get off early to go. My cell number is 027 6694937.

If people have no objection I'd like to get a card and sign it on behalf of friends at CityGuard, for those of you that knew James but can't make it. If that ok with people?
