WTB: Necrons

I've already got another army I'm kicking around idea's for before I've even finished my first, I'm wanting to gather a core force so I can play some small games at home with them.

I was wondering if anyone has any spare Necron's floating around they would be thinking of getting rid of?

The other option I'm looking at is Maelstrom games, $130 for 28 warriors, 7 scarabs and 3 destroyers and 1 lord, that's DAMNED cheap for 900 points worth of army, for that much I'd hardly get 2 rhino's and a squad of troops for my existing army.

I'm wanting to eventually turn it into a Skimcron type fast army. I want something fast and deadly to mimic a Necron quick and nasty unexpected strike.

that is an incredibly good price for those necrons

The skimcron army sounds interesting should be very tough to play against to bad the necrons dont have any fast flying transport vehicles. THey would be absolutely awesome

i can hit up a friend who bought 10 necrons but decided to opt out of playing if you want - might flick them onto you for cheap

To Squig; Yeah ordering the Necron battle force from maelstrom is great value for money, especially brand new! I've got a few offers already, but really it will be hard to compare.

Neckface; I would be keen if you can find out what he would let them go for?

The only thing with making a heavy skimmer army is the Necron lords don't really fit in with Destroyers due to the 24" difference in their firing ranges I really want a destroyer body lord in there though, almost worth it for making him T6 alone, and maybe just to add a veil and have a warping pack of long range mobile gunners

me and pete actually got him a necron lord for his birthday two years ago, with the idea pete would assemble it and i'd paint it.

Ahhh true yeah I meet him a couple times from when I used to live with Brendon and when I've seen Pegasus play.

Yeah I'd like to have a lord on foot and a skimmer lord also so I have options, yeah let me know please.

Good idea, I'm planning to fill one of the fast attack slots with a unit of 3xWraiths. The rest will likely be more destroyers than is really needed

I probably won't be needing the Lord, I'll have 2 shortly. Just won a trade me auction for. 50 Warriors, 4 Destroyers (1 Heavy) 2 Flayed Ones and a lord for $169, pretty damned good deal I think!

Looks like I'll be buying a few bottles of simple green and doing a lot of paint stripping in the not too distant future.

Will have another second hand Necron Codex floating around if anyone needs one for like $10-15.

keep neglecting to ask mike, and pete wasn't keen to sell off the lord anyways because he still wants to make it up and give it to the guy.
