Wip - Epic 40k Ork Army

Hello Guys

Been wanting to get into epic for a long time now, due to i just like being old school and do the old stuff. It has taken a bit of time to find a good cheap good size army to buy that has not really been painted.

And i have found this one not really what i was after i did want marines but i may always need something for someone to play Vs me with at club as i know not many have epic army's around the place.

I am bidding on a space marine army at the moment but i might not win it, also i am so strapped for cash i don't even think i can a ford it but we will see.

So i got these guy for $66 bucks dam cheap. And should be the right amount to get a good army out of them to play with.

Also if any one has any epic they want to get rid of really anything any race i will pay cash or trade normal 40k marines for them!!!!!!!!!

well, from a quick look it'll be a shed-load of the basic ork sprues that come with your boyz, warbosses , nobz and other misc odds and ends including stompas.  then there's the battlewagon srpue there with all manner of deathrollers and such.  then a handful of mekboy dragsters and fighter bommas.

any one have the new rules for Epic i need to try and make a list out of these guys, and i dont have a clue what is there the pics are crap but i would say NeckFace would be about right. Should be good for 1-2k points. And maybe add a few extras on later if i can find.

not like the codex and how to build the list not that i understand anyways, why do that have a proper rule book out. I just can be fecked mail ordering it but i might have to.

which is why GW has them available for free download

Ok after a few hours and sorting, I have made a 3000point list. I have no clue how it would play thats why i would like some input. These are the list of models i have got and made the list with. Excluding the Mekboy Stompamob unit that i would need to buy if they dont go.

Also got the paint job a bit form his web site. just used a p3 skome red and some chestnut ink instead of his looks like red gore. i just need to fine a nice wash to do some rust.

Hello All.

I know there has been no updates but i have been working on my 40k army that needs to be done before September for a torny. Been waiting on my bases from battfront and now they have come i am not 100% on them now i think the are just a bit to big but there smaller bases will just be to small.

These are the 3 options i can do for bases for my battle wagons i have about 50 gun wagons that need doing and i want to make sure i get the right base before i do that all.

Gray base is Mid base for flames of war cost about $15 nz for 28, others are GW bases and there cost is about $18 nz for 5 mid bases and 20 small bases. So not that keen on doing the mid bases due to cost but i want the outcome to be the best so if it comes to that i will.

Well after a bit of thinking, i decided to go with the mid FOW bases but in a strange but cool manner.

Due to there being a large amount of space for making the base look good. I have made the squad of ten tanks as a sort of mini diorama to make the whole think not look to big and i think they came out very nice.
