I have the cannon, shield, and altitude arms from a basilisk and am trying to come up with a way of constructing something to represent one. A cool idea from Mark in Vagabonds Queen St is to make it into a stationary platfrom, similar to:



although I don't have the base that the components mount on. Maybe something like this:



What do you guys think? I use Catachan models.

definetely if you were to do this you need to have jungle bits like vines and such draped over the model to represent its catchan controllers.

Plasticard is always good but it is quite likely you will be able to use somethign form another model which will look just as good. It will all depend on how good you are at converting.

just in time to pound those incoming planetstrike armies.
this is a cool idea, you could put a tow hook on it and hitch it on the back of a tank for when its on display.
