Hello All,

I just flicked over those links that where in the drop pod plans tread and though i would have a go at ones of these for the hell of it.

First thing i see wrong is the plans are not that good. next you cant print them on normal A4 it is setup to us a different paper card that i will need to go buy.

So i though i will give it a good in paper and scale it down a little so i can use some normal A4 paper. This was a bad idea paper is bad so bad, i just does not have the strength there. Also the plan have no flaps so how can you join .01mm paper together. So i added some flaps and managed to make a bit of the foot up and a toe.

I think its ok for being paper and just a test model. I will go out and try and find the right card and get it printed.

Dont worry guys i am working on modding these plans a bit so you know what to do a bit better and making them fit onto A4 so job blogs and print them. 50% there will do a download for you all once done so it will be easy as pie to make.

I am also experimenting with cards at the moment. Seeing what will be the right thickness.

OK all.

All the plans have now been moved to A4 sized PDF files. Scale has not changed when doing this. I have also started working on adding Flaps to the PDFs also to make it easy to put together. So far i have the foot PDF completed with the 5 toes. And a test model has been made with 0.05mm A4 card and seams to be good and i think i am going to use this.

If you want to Download this pdf go to the link  Grin Grin

http://www.hugedrive.com/published/WG/show.php?q=TEFaQVJVUzk5Mg==-b23c1d1a

Foot Diagram on the original plans.

My Changes with Flaps and added a few extra bits to make it stronger and so you can stick the 3 parts together better.

And this is another dummy mock up with the 0.05mm card at the right scale.

I can bring it if you want i don't have the rules for it so no idea of point value, i should have it done by then but might be unpainted.

Here is another update about 7 hours to do this.

This will probably be my last day working on it for a week or so, i am out of ink and card that's why some of the model is blue and that.

Also i saw in the final drawing the model had a crotch plate but not plans on how to build one so i made my own up and now his robot bits are safe.

Another completed pdf for his torso: http://www.hugedrive.com/published/WG/show.php?q=TEFaQVJVUzk5Mg==-0d51725f

And some pics of what i am up to with some of my mins down the bottom to show you size comparison.
