Hmmm that gives me an idea for adding some scarabs to the under sides of some of my destroyers, kinda like those fish who leech a ride on larger fish like sharks. I'll have to put some thought into this as I can imagine it being done wrong more than it being done right

just a short update to say i've finished the 19 hormagaunts (left the 3 2nd ed ones alone, i just decided i hate the miniatures) but i couldn't be bones'd to take a photo of them.

they're just hormies anyways so nothing special.  will probably post a pic once i've finished the zoanthropes and bung em all up

i might do a whole army shot some time its acutally looking rather sizeable now.

have to hang out to see what they do with 'nid codex next year too.  it seems that that's what GW will be gunning for after SW, and looking at the current trend, gaunts are going to get a whole hell of a lot more cheaper and i'm going to have to buy and paint more of the little buggers.

there's a shitton to do, but i'm stoked at how its progressing and how large the army currently looks.  started to do basic coversion to my next two fexes, sticking guns on their back and have finished base coating the flyrant.  pulled out all the space hulk genestealers and getting ready to base and prime them. 

otherwise, i've given myself a dealine of Battle Cry next year by the latest, but within a another month i should have enough to start 1500 game to start practicing.  more if i'm willing to play with unpainted miniatures

cheers for the kind words too, moe.  really, you force should look sweet on the battlefield.  even if there's different schemes in the army, they can look suprisingly cohesive - having a Dark Angel force has shown me that, having almost equal parts dark green, white and black.

debating on having a game this saturday maybe, seeing we've got all our drum recording out of the way, and i have a break while guitars are being done.  if you're keen we can maybe have a few small jousts, none of the terrain is painted nor is the board, but there's enough there to actually have a game.  could get luke and mark into it maybe.

welp, its been a while




so the tyrant's done and i'm pretty happy how he turned out despite my hamfisted greenstuff work and painting. just have to figure out how to play with him properly

so on the table now is 7 nid warriors with deathspitters and barbed strangler.  one is done, and the others in various states of base coat.

and after them i'm looking forward to getting started on these boys
