I'll have to grab a hordes army off chris/haydn/ian though... Best to stick with same system games to start with I think.

Battle box games (Moughoul+2xCyclops Savage+ Gladiator) are the best starting point. You'll probably want at least 10 of these games under your belt untill you start playing larger games.
