Hi all,
Some of you may remember me from the middle of last year, when I hung around the club with a few Chaos Warriors for a little bit. I live overseas, come back for 2 months a year…and want to get a bit of a gaming fix while I’m in NZ.

So anyway, I’ve come to the conclusion that building a decent army with my time and location constraints is not going to happen….so out comes the check book.

I want to buy a painted fantasy army. I’m not particularly fussy about what the army is….I just want something that people would be happy to play against in friendly games while I’m in NZ. I want something that’s reasonably complete, and ready to play straight out of the box. I’m happy to pay a fair price, but am not too keen on getting taken for a ride with overpriced stuff. I’ve had a look on Trademe over the last couple of weeks, and seen a few maybes….but have not been grabbed by anything.

So, short story.:
Does anyone want to sell an army?

Hey mikey

If you want to play and don't mind old minatures, I'll hook you up.
I have an old HE army that can be used for current edition.

2 units of Dragon princes
3 mages
Mounted Lord
2 units archers
2 units of spears
3 RBTs
Shadow warriors
Phoenix Guard
poss reavers

Plus rulebook.

This will give you enough for a 2250 pts. List will most likely score you a no adjustment for comp depending on the toys you equip your heroes.
Give us a yell if you're interested.

a nurgle daemon army.

all current edition models, full painted and based...  i spent crap load of time to paint these tin soldiers, so i think they are painted very well (personally think... Cheesy)

the army is small and elite, easy to take it along with u in a single GW case.
and i think it is quite friendly compare to other daemon list.

only want 75% of the current retailer price.

I have:
1 Great Unclean One
1 Herald of Nurgle on foot
23 Plaguebearers
5 PLaguebearers painted but not based
3 Nurglings
4 Beasts of Nurgle (previous edition metal chaos spawn)

Hi Mike,
Glad you're on your way back and look forward to having another game or two.
Obviously geting an army from the good guys at the CG is a great idea, but you might consider is getting your figs painted by one of the painting services around the world. Check google like I did:

If you want Chaos warriors, I've got about 2500 pts worth of those losers.
I was fielding:
3 units warriors (old school)
1 unit marauders (LOTR orcs)
2 x 5 knights (Old school)
2x spawn
unit of Choosen unpainted (new)
3/4 characters painted (old?)
3/4 characters unpainted(new)
1 old blood thrister model proxy as a Daemon prince

Those that are painted are fairly average
$200 the lot... and I'll even throw in Bill the pony with the grudge cart Smiley
