SUNDAY 10th of MAY - WARNING ABOUT THE HALL AFTER 5.30pm

Hey Guys, Just a note of warning - the V 48 HOUR movie competition has suddenly shifted to Freemans Bay Community Hall as the finishing line, finish line opens at 6pm on Sunday 10th of May - for your own safety (with the mad competitors driving maniacally to the finish line, and the HOARDES of cars that are going to show up between 6.00pm and 7.00pm)

I'd pack up and get out RIGHT on time, otherwise cars might end up blocked end, crazy sleepless competitors may look at your toy soldiers and suddenly believe they have become giants, and all other manic happenings may take place.

This is a last minute change from the organisers, and the council probably hasn't had the time/forethought to warn you - but as I happen to part of the behind the scenes stuff for the competition I'd just like to make sure that you are ALL made aware of the potential calamity of just hanging around after the club finishes, or even just having a game run a little bit over time.

So yeah, hope everyone gets this, or that someone tells everyone else on Sunday about the situation.

nah elsewhere on this forum it was announced that the first couple of may dates were back on again.  Barely anyone showed up last week as most people don't pay much attention to forums.
