I'll be in tomorrow with no game organised, so a rematch could be on the cards if you don't get any other offers

After reading Fujins blog last night methinks he is asking for a "Dave-slapping"...

If his ji-dave shirt is in the wash though....  sure thing!

Played round with my list a little...  if you care to run your Runefang list?

Cool, well let me know what he decides Smiley
I will be bringing my Runefang list tomorrow. I submitted it last night unchanged from our game last week. I think it has most of tools it needs, or as much as it can, sticking to my self imposed no tree rule.

Its a good list...  and you can virtually guarantee plenty of woods to make use of in Wellington...  last few events there have been "good hunting" terrain wise for woodies!  LOL

Just ease up on making all those ward saves would ya?

Dammit I was so going to take you up on the offer Phil... unfortunately I have a family reunion (wife's side) to attend tomorrow.

Looks like I'll be trying extra hard to make TS2 so I can grudge you first round.

Cityguard will be running as usual on the 3rd and 10th, but after that the hall is being renovated until June. There may be other things organised over this period, check out this thread http://www.cityguard.co.nz/forum/index.php/topic,1554.0.html

Looks like we are on then Nick...

Fujin - Given the couple of weeks club closure...  I'm fairly certain I can drag myself up that way for 3 weeks running  (even one was a record LOL)..  so more than happy to give your Runefang list a run through on the 10th?

Great, see you around 1.30 again?
Very keen to break the horrible losing streak I am in prior to Runefang 2.... public embarrassment is always much worse...

Philfy, much appreciated that you allowed me to break my 13 game losing streak. Apparently 13 is only unlucky for some!

I might have said something about not putting this photo on the net... but still, wasn't any reason to say that, and your army is looking great!

Thanks Vaul - and it was funny at the time  Grin

Always a pleasure Nick...  "Someone" had to show you how to win so you can clean up at Runefang!  Wink

And now that I have a loss out of the way...  I can concentrate on "dave-kicking"   Cool

This is OBVIOUSLY a sign from the horned rat that your true calling is as a skaven general.

Oh yeah, now we're talking. However, talking to some regular tournament players (Al), apparently its not worth it until the new skaven book comes out.

Skaven can still do well. Pete Dunn's had some recent success with them I believe. Armies don't have to be able to beat Daemons, VCs and DE to place well at tournaments.

jezzails and a horde of rats can be a real handful. I'd think they would chew all the cheesy armies up from chessycon as long as they maintained ranks and passed terror tests.

I was tempted by Skaven at one stage. Of course, I have grown to hate facing Warp Lightning soooo much that of course I wouldn't take any warplock engineers, and there I am back to losing 13 games in a row... Tongue
