Hello all I have seen the new pics of the iron clad and they are disappointing so i am going to make my own out of the junk i have around the place.

I have about 6 AOBR dreads around so i have a bit a leeway for messing up. I am a little low on things like flamers and that so i have made some out of the melta guns off the AOBR dreads.

What i am probably most people have always wanted is a dred to hold something big and smash shit with it so now is the time. We have the new hammer to play with the new model from GW has made it more like a drill type thing and i think that is so wrong. So i am going off a few pics i have seen of other wips and made me own hammer simler to a normal termy thunder hammer just 5x the size and for a dred.

I am also going with the hurricane bolter setup and two heavy flamers. I am also trying to think weather to mod the body myself or buy the really nice ultramarine dred from forge world and put my arms on it.

Pose has changed to make it look a little batter some big rivets have been added to make the armor look bulkier, and all primed ready for paint.

Hello Guys

The Painting has started, its about day 5 on the dreadnought and i just popped down to GW to get some more wash so i could start this up.

I only had an hour or so as the wife wanted to spend sometime with me (no fun i am not that lucky).

So all i manged to get done was really test how i was going to paint the overall model so i just started with the shoulders and add the highlights.

Layer one: blue foundation
Layer two: blue wash
Layer three: Blue foundation again.
Layer four: highlight with ultra blue
Layer five: highlight with 50/50 ultra blue and white.
