haha.. to late, already finsihed the lord on top!

ok stage 2

went through my super huge bits box, I found a old school Bretonnia Lord body and his cloak, and a night goblin Champion head,  these are the perfect bits for my Gobotonnia Lord.

with a little bit of conversion..

also started to convert my Baby wyvern.. I want it to look as much as the bigger version.

with this idea in mind, I added a shorten wyvern tail to my baby wyvern and scupted the fat belly..

while waiting for the green stuff to dry, I started to search for the head.. in this case i found a special character cold one in my bit box, joined with the cut off wyvern tail and added horns..

and this is pretty much all i can do today while waiting for the green stuff to dry.

STAGE 3

attached the head, played around with the position, and this is roughly what it will look like when finished.

Started on the scale on one side..

Completed my Gobbos at arm

finished the base for my first squigasus knight

enjoy

Love the Peg/Squig thing. I hope you get it all finished for FoB, it will look really good, as we can see. And with the units you are building it looks like you should have a reasonably effective army too.

Any plans to have any orcs in there too?

I don't know man, I'm REALLY struggling with bretonnia, they are soooo unforgiving, a small mistake can cost me my game. I played with a wide range of armies, and I felt Bretonnia is defintely one of the hardest army to use..

I never used a hippgryh before, and hopefully i can do better with it.

and I have no plan for Orcs... GOBOtonnia army!

No, really, IMHO they are equivilant to Stunties in terms of difficulty to play. They are just much better at winning games.

By that I mean the way you play is pretty much the same game after game, without much need to over analyse or think. It is simply that the dynamics of Warhammer favour Brets over Stunties.

Cool wyvern convert. The right wing doesn't IMHO look big enough. Maybe more modeling to add a section. Scales look the deal and must of taken you ages.

How do you mold some of you green stuff Simon? Do you use impression on greenstuff wait to dry then press or another medium?

@Either Simon or Anthony, Sure thing Challenge is excepted this weekend if you're free. I'll bring a rubber mallet to ring that armoured bell you call an army Tongue

Man, every picture is just better and way more astounding than the last.

I find it quite funny, that the shields used by the gobbo-at-arms, are just as big as the goblins themselves.

Ah-ha, now I see what happened with those goblin bosses on squigs from that combined order we made.

Great conversions and high quality paintwork to match.

I really like the half-grown wing, really have the baby wyvern feel, that's why i chose the varghulf model. and yes, the scale took me a while.
