Great start! Have you thought of using some Iron Halo bases for these guys? With such be bases and low(ish) model count I thought it would be very tempting...

I reckon you'll be busy too. All that green stuff! I'm looking forward to seeing it.

I'm sure there are some cool other gobbo models you could consider using. Sqig hopper peg knights prehaps? Wyvern hippogriff? Snotling pump waggon releque?

I was meaning for the mounted units. There's only 28 of those nice big bases.

Hay simon this comment it not putting a downer on your modeling skills at all it just a point at GW, how come warhammer models look as crap and boring as they did 30 years ago. no wonder you need to make everything better looking only half the work has been done for you. what a bull crap game they need to invest in some new models or the guy who makes the stuff.

well, goblins are not one of their best selling, becuase they r crap and noone use them. in GW point of view, they have no reason to spend time and money to remake the gobbos. which is understandable, if u r running a company , will u spend money and time on something u couldn't make any money out off? No.. so that's why the gobbos are still old and crappy.

Lazarus - WFb models are very cool, and have changed a lot. Models with 'least' amount of change are probably space marines.... go figure.

ok I'm starting my Bretonnia Lord on a Hippogryph (aka Gobotonnia Lord on Baby Wyvern)

After searching through countless manufactures for the right model to represent the Baby Wyvern, I decided to use a Vampire Count Varghulf.

so it began... I went down to Vagabond today and bought the Varghulf



carefully fill up the gaps in its wings.


filed off most of its fur and cut its head off
