Surely there must be someone else not playing Cheesycon! (Or someone who is but wants a break from the bloodshed?)
I'll be testing out the list I might take to the next few tournies.

Sweet - I'll set my alarm so I am up in time!

Which means I should be there shortly after 1pm as well.

Alas, hope the car will survive. I will PM you my cell number for future Smiley
I am currently free next week if you are keen to try again?

The no-show was all good as Antony's opponent also didn't turn up, so I got to face his 'cheesy' dwarves. It was going swimmingly until the end of turn 6 when there was a ~1000 pt swing in Antony's favour, which he was chuckling about for ages... he won 11-9

Thanks for a good game Nick,

Broke my bugbear on the Woodies!  Yay!!!!!!!!!!!

Still can't believe my BSB died on turn 1  Sad   And people say that Waywatchers are crap?  Sheesh  *mutters* hehe

Must say...  playing a game (first one out of a tourney environment for around 6? years) is motivating in regards to the painting of more models!

Aye?

So did you win Philfy?
Did he kill that big BSB on the juggernaut that you use?

So it was another loss Nick? Time to dust off the dragon/treeman/glade guard spam lists yet?

@ Gratnuk, Phil was using his High Elves and waywatchers have killing blow at short range... twang!!!

Glad to have helped you out on that front Phil, though couldn't you have been nice and let me break my 12 (now 13) game losing streak Tongue
I also enjoyed the game though, and a lot of things worked out for me (gotta love the rolling on those wardsaves!) so it was worth while.

Josh is right, it was Dragon princes and mounted BSB. 6 Waywatchers leapt out of a forest first turn, and unleashed, getting 6 hits from 6. "Oh, that's one on each model then". BSB got killing blowed, and so did 2 of his friends!

mmm Dragon, Treeman, Glade Guard spam you say....

If you want to break your losing streak, you could always give me a game Smiley

Well said Derick. Actually, the last person Nick won against was me apparently!

Really? I thought I claimed that dubious honour with the 20-0 thrashing he inflicted upon me at FluffyCon?

I don't know. I think my game was after FluffyCon because Nick tried to cheese his list up a bit with the lvl4 mage.

I also noticed that cheeseup.  It was the main difference between the pre-fluffycon list I played and the post-fluffycon list.
