do you think I'll take a comp hit?

Given thats around 2,500 points - without upgrades. You 'might' receive a slap on the wrists for that one.

Interesting list you've submitted Dave. Tooled characters backed up by some of the weaker choices for foot sloggers. A decent shooting force is going to tear you a new one I suspect. Trying to get good comp with the pansies?

Actually, just using the models I have with the Wood/High crossover army.

WE don't have chariots, bolt throwers, or heavy cav.... so neither do my HE. Also, as a TO I belive in leading by example. I would like people to take 'nicer' lists (although they don't have to), so I have as well.

So far it drew vs Vauls TK (theres a report on youtube), and I could/should have won if I didn't have a brain fart that got the archmage killed, and my star lance noble being a feck-wit.

You're right about the 'skill' - definitely NOT point and click.

Yeah but you've since swapped the jewel of dusk for the seerstaff Wink

Subtle but important, and now you can't fail to get unseen lurker etc if you want it!

LoL maybe Dave's been playing too much 40Gay.  With that much lasgun fire in your army all you need is a couple of Leman Russ tanks and you'll have a half decent Imperial Guard army  Shocked

Wanted to post a list of entrants, so here it is, 31 entered (a few people need to 'finalise' availability, so I expect 30 to be playing):

Are there grudge matches allowed?

If yes, I would have grudged Dave Stent if he had appeared in the list above (rumour has it he was a @#$% to play at Runefang, but somehow ended up with Best Sport - probably bribed his opponents I imagine - so I wanted to see in person if this tale was correct Wink)

Otherwise... Phil Comins has a bit of a target painted on him. If he's not a complete scaredy-cat (or grudged already)  Cheesy

Cheers

David Stent has "other commitments"

Happy for you to grudge Phil.... if he accepts.

Pete has grudged Luke (Vaul) - need confirmation of acceptance as well.

FYI - Hagen, get your list to me within the next 12 hours please.

Geez Hagen... still so keen to drag my name through the dirt after I mistook your son for a girl (or was it the other way around... I forget). You're lucky I didn't ask what breed it was? Can't imagine how much trouble that would have gotten me into.

I'm really quite a nice guy when I'm not waving around a Hydra in one hand and a Manticore in the other.

Good choice grudging Philfy. He deserves a big win in the first round (poor sod needs all the help he can get) and it's generous of you to offer him the chance of a free walkover. Sports points in the can right there my folliclely challenged amigo.

I'm surprised you can see the dice on the table let alone correctly identify a toddler at 3 feet! You certainly have myopia when it comes to building a balanced DE army... Smiley

Bitter? Me? No...

But you told me at the pub he was a pushover and it was a certain win for me! You lied!!  Shocked
