One quick question.... why does the entry form list the Sunday start time as 1pm? Or are we all planning to get THAT pissed during the Apoc game?

BatB was great. Thanks to Andrew and Scott for organising it. It's a shame you couldn't make it Bartosh it was great. The side of Order won the mega battle and my only loss was a single burst cannon Tongue Results are below:

1 Mark Buttle
2 Daryl Painter
3 Adam Thornton
4 Clint Heuer
5 Ben Foster
6 Ryan Simister
7 Hayden Korach
8 Stephen Hewitt
9 Micheal Wheeler
10 Vebjorn Hovrud
11 Ian Rawley
12 Aaron Rouse
13 Richard Townsend
14 Micheal Taylor
15 Sebastian Kalkoff
16 Jamie Satch
17 Thierry Quaid
18 Jed Applegate
19 Bruni Brown

Congrats to everyones favourite "ignorer of composition scores", Mark Buttle for another dominant performance smashing pretty much everyone he came across, including myself.

There was nothing wrong with the missions and the only organisational problems we had were due to the other idiots using the hall before and after us. (And Haydens tantrum ruining the original results). The main gripe was probably time, once again caused by others having the hall booked before and after us on the sunday.

He used Deathwing at Battlecry. This time around he used his new Khorne Daemon army. 2 Bloodthirsters, Daemon Prince, 8 Bloodcrushers, 32 Bloodletters and 8 Hounds. Not too bad if you can aviod the MC's and the Bloodcrushers, but thats easier said than done.

Will someone be posting these results to MarkC so he can add them to the 40K rankings??

If you do he'll be looking for the various scores, total, battle, comp, sports, painting as well as which army people played... Smiley

Is that Scott's job Bartosh??

I have what I need for the Player Rankings.  I'll get them on my web site in a day or so.

I would like to track down what armies each player used so I can also process the Army Rankings.  From the above we know what Mark took.   Are the other players on the forums able to post what they, their friends, or their opponents took?

Mark Buttle - Chaos Daemons

Thanks

Hi Bartosh,

Gutted that I couldn't get up to BatB  - Ben says it was a lot of fun!

When Ben stopped at home for a couple of days after BatB he said something about a Doubles Tournament later this year??

What's the buzz on that? True?! rumours? plans in the pipeline??

Doubles tourny is scheduled for the last weekend in October (31st-1st), 2500 pnt total per team. I am currently looking for a ultra shooty 1250 point partner to team with my Zerker/Defiler choppy killy abomination.

I'm going to go to this too but already have a partner, but it sounds like you are looking to team with your other army. funny if you could enter twice and team with yourself there would be no arguments on tactics

Northern Alliance 2009
DATE: October 31st/November 1st 2009
Venue: Onerahi Community Hall, Church Street, Onerahi, Whangarei, New Zealand
Details: 2500 points for the combined force. Minimum spend of 1000 points per player. Each player must have 1 HQ and 2 Troops.
More information to follow

me and eisenhorn are teaming up and going, not sure which armys to use
hes got ultramarines and tyranids and ive got word bearers and orks... ive got daemons too but there not ready at all, nope not at all  Sad daemons and wordbearers is the most obvious but as i said not painted/assembled/converted.. andive got eldar (but wouldnt take them to a tourney)
we were thinking maybe nids (mostly genestealers) and something of mine. the tyranids fully infested and inslaved other army.
what do you guys reckon? Stealers with the Orks or the CSM or some other combo we have missed?

i mean really is it even worth getting my models of the shelf for that amount of points? Huh
