I really hate online gamers.

So, just thought id go try out a game of dawn of war online cause sheryl is at work and the kids are in bed and whaddaya know...cud i be bothered? no, wat a bunch of a-holes with no lives or girlfriends. Not a very friendly bunch are they? well they can go hell. i got better things to do than play online with those f@#$%^ 's.

thats why i hate online gaming and now a 100% single player man, there is always some little feck playing it since it was out 24hours a day. And they think they are god when it some 50 y/o fat man at home who cant get layed dam online gamers go get layed

guys, calm down.  When you go online for the first time and play 1v1 you're going to get trashed, because that style of play is much, much more competitive than single player.  And if you play 2v2 or 3v3 or some kind of team play, other people are going to be frustrated if you are holding the team back through inexperience.

Don't take it to heart.  There are heaps of great people out there who play games online.  You need a better approach.  A good way to start is to get other people you know in person, to go online and play against you or on a LAN.  When you get used to it, try chatting people up on the popular DOW forums like relicnews or dowsanctuary.  People aren't going to badmouth you if the games have been solicited and talked about beforehand like that - they will have an idea of your background and experience with the game. 

I've still got my copy of DOW and all the expansions, but not DOW2 - I didn't like it, and didn't buy it.  But i'll give you a game of DOW1 if you like.

Hi have all expansions and original to DoW. So if you want a LAN Im happy to try jump on. Have a friendly. If you have Hamachi it makes playing LAN easy.

Yeah that Hamachi is one brilliant piece of software. We mostly use it to play DotA.

What version have you got the network setup with?
