I know all!

Games Workshop was closed on the the 8th of March.
They closed for renovations that were suppose to be done late January, early February.
Some of the staff have gone to take the time off and others have gone to join the staff at Silvia Park.
They will re-open around the 3rd of April hopefully before the release of War of the Ring.

All this information I received off James.

personally, I shop at vagabonds.  10% discount on gw models.  The one thing I like the least about GW is the extortionist prices, and the way their products are marketed/packaged - to spend more money than you need to.  Best way to buy gw stuff is second hand or from a discount mail order website.

Once you have made a qualifying purchase (something from the gw model range will do, incidentally), as them to put you down as a VIP member/give you a card.

Don't worry about a card.  Just demand that they put you down on their spreadsheet.  My buddy Mark works there, try to talk to him about it if possible, he's a good guy.  Next time I buy gw miniatures i'm gonna try the maelstrom mail order site, see if it works out a bit better.

But not on paints and that stuff only on models so box sets and that.

www.imperialga mes.co.nz  is handy if you are after stuff fairly quickly too...  and its discounted as well.

Vaul - Maelstrom work well for most things, keep an eye on it though, when VAT goes up again GW UK will work out a little cheaper.  And bear in mind you have to keep your purchases under NZ$300 or else get pinged on GST.

I actually use Maelstrom for Vallejo paints more than anything else.
