Core should just be 3 x 20 Zombies - go the minimum.

Killy Vamp boss + Drakenhof BSB + either Graveguard bunker or Black Knight bus of doom with Hatred Banner or +1 to hit banner. Mmmm... cheesey...

Lots of Skellies with Corpse Carts behind and casty mini-vamps with Lord of the Dead. One has Arkhan.

7 or so Wraiths + Banshee


Or give one mini-Vamp Lynci and make a Dire Wolf missile

Limited by models available..... I'm tempted to go with:

Bretts - Hippo + 4 Peg Heros

Lizards - Some kind of Slann + EoG spam

TK - Balance is new cheese (very limited models)

High Elf - Uber Magic + units that run away

WE - Something similar to my OTT list - nothing too cheesy here (again limited by models). Would love to do Dragon + 2 treeman.

that list can be freakin deadly if used by a skilled player, the vampire lord is insane~

reroll hit every round,  each unsaved wound add extra attacks, str 6, and enemy lose all charge bonus and lose ASF and Initiative drop to 1.

Black coach is very deadly if boosted with loads of PD. I used 2, they were unstoppable.

the 40 skeletions should get banner of the dead legion, for overnumbering to cause auto break.

yes, he can. the nightshroud (light armor) will replace his heavy armor (from dreadknight)

dreadlance is 60 points magic item, only good on the turn he charges, personally i think it's too expensive, with infinite hatred, and sword of might (40 points) they are cheap and can do the job.



the list is hard, but it can be harder...

also, i would drop the drakenhof banner on the wight king, and give him sword of kings or tomb blade....

In the context of CheeseyCon I'm seeing major issues with:

- it's three big blocks of slow infantry, 1 unit of Fast Cav, 1 Chariot and a hitty monster
- that means Vamp/BSB in the Skellies with Zombies/Ghouls on either side and everything else on one flank next to the Varghulf (for marching) except the Coach needs to be next to the casters to absorb dice = not a terribly flexible deployment

Mind you it does have:

- stacks of magic defense
- an f-off big unit of Skellies
- ...not much else.


The build of any given army for this event is going to be so strongly swayed by the amount of points available - <2000? >2000? I'd be going hard out for fast hitty combat troops and some magic defense (which would be a very different list from what I usually play).

hi, that's fine, we can start as soon as we receive all the army lists, (hopefully before sat this week), u can arrange your games anytime, if u can play 9 games in a week, u can finish it in a week, but would like to start earlier for ppl who can only play 1 or 2 games a week , eg. me.
so if u can fit 3-4 games in a week, u can start after natcon, if u want to.
