Nice job A++, nice highlights and shadows,
Only thing i would say and it just my preference to models, give it a matt varnish to get rid of the bad gloss look, but some people do like this better like Gregs chaos army at BC this year that i did not like due to the gloss.

I like the gloss.
It is armour after all, no knight worth his salt would be low enough to have matt or semi-gloss! Nay! Gloss!
The fourth figure has always been disliked by me; however having hair certainly helps his cause. The hair takes away the "strained neck" look. Haha.
I very much like the battle-axed fellow.

thanks for the kind words guys.
yeah i didnt like the gloss that the red ink gives to start with but its grown on me. and if any ones gona have shiny flash armour its gota be the blood angels right?

Dam they are some very nice painted marines, my old BA ones did not look that nice if you go though the old threds on the board you will see my old ones, but my new marines what are also on this board look alot better than my old BA, remmber the Inks are out now so if you still have 50 men to paint i would sujest going out and buy a heap before they all go.

yeah i got a guy down in hams who hooked me up with 3 pots of red ink and 2 pots of chestnut before they all sold out

base of dark flesh, layer of bleached bone, 2 washs of gyrphone sepia then highlight with bleached bone

sweet i will need to go buy some paints, just so i cant do this on my termys i am using gold on most of my marines. so its only for skulls.

yeah couldnt go to battle cry. had to be home that weekend for the missus said so. and i was at ott the weekend before so its all good.
every time theres a club day i seem to be busy...what a shame, scott cant beat me that way
