space crusade did come out first then came space hulk then rogue trader then 2nd edtion.

RT was before Space Crusade (at least in UK).  Very cool game (when you're 12)


Just checked dates:

Space Crusade relased 1990
Space Hulk released 1989
RT released 1987

I got a mint cond Heroquest a few years ago.. awesome game. Tempted to go for that space crusade box myself.... but I'm broke.

Haha i should have known that most of my RT armey is from the 80s before even GW was around, i know i bought Space hulk when i was about 7y/o what would make it about 92-93 and my naybour had space crusade at the same time.

I only new there was RT marine in my 20s,

I am going to get this and paint them up will be fun to have a few games at club with it with some nicley painted models.

Its just strange i remmber the Space Hulk models being qwite nice and the space crusade ones being really shit making it look 10 years older.

Also looks like the RT01 Marines came out in the advanced space crusade boxset in 1990.

What mean the Rouge trade plastics came out the same time as space hulk what is strange.

So it looks like the Metal Rouge trader maines came out frist from cidadel no GW in the early 1980s and the RT plastics came out from GW in 1990.

Are you meaning Space Hulk? that's what I heard, not Space Crusade. . .
