Thanks for the game Ant, I learnt a lot today, I think the new 40k rule is Wwwway better than the previous edition.

the new LOS is pretty cool, no more hiding inside an area terrain...
the new run rule is insane, Tau will have soooo much trouble against tyranid..
tank shock and ramming is very new to me..

but after reading through the new rulebook again afterward, I found out we did a couple of things wrong.

1. all blast weapons now scatter, so frag missile launcher will scatter too..
2. there is no one last model standing test anymore??
3. walker fights with front armor in close combat, stunned or immobilised walker will fight with 1 less attack, no matter how many times suffered.
4. shaken do not affect walker in CC, and yes weapon destoryed result will destory the dreadnought close combat weapon and reduce to its normal strength..

other than that, we pretty much got everything right~~ Smiley

thanks for the game~~ you got an awesome army there...

Next week, my ork horde VS Lezle's black templar~~ it's going to be very bloody~~! Waaaghh~

Yeah, Good Game and lots of fun - so thanks for that.

[1] Didn't know about last man standing - thats a good change.
[2] Missile launchers are interesting. Use BS for the single shot and scatter minus BS for the template. Should have remembered that one - also forgot that eldar missiles cause pinning test [thats one I need to remember].
[3] Did you find out whether kans etc act like dreadnaughts in all respects....or do they have some of their own special rules?

Good luck in your next game!

cheers

Thats alright Simon..Thank you..It was a tough game.We got through a good chunk of it considering our time limit and the number of models we had on the board together..250+?? It wasn't going to make for the fastest game.lol.
